I had a professor who despised calculators and anything with batteries. He rattled off digits of pi before a lecture one day to showoff. I really tried to pay attention, but I lost concentration (interest) after the 9th place.
I’m glad they invented TI-89’s.
I always wondered if he was talking either to his coffee or headset every morning before class…
