Dear Internet,
If there are any young people in your life (between the ages of 8-13, specifically), I am teaching a free workshop at the Hammer Museum about Psychogeography. I’m really looking forward to it, and it should be a lot of fun! Here’s the official blurb:
How do you know when you’re almost home? Is it when you see the sign for a certain exit on the freeway or when you smell the taco truck that parks around the corner? In this workshop, participants explore psychogeography, otherwise known as the playful study of cities and the folks who live in them, and develop creative interventions that reflect the varied physical, social, and psychological aspects of wherever we might call home. Instructor Sarah Brin is a writer and curator living in Los Angeles. Ages 8–13.
SUNDAY AFTERNOONS FOR KIDSThe Hammer’s collaborative workshops, presented with 826LA, are designed for groups of up to 20 students. Reservations are encouraged. Please visit workshops.826LA.org or call 310-305-8418.

Knowledge is endless, so get up off the couch and take the little ones out.
